Welcome to Bubbles Creation

Several years ago, I (Caroline) started my grooming salon. After just one year, my salon was already so busy that I asked a friend to come and help with washing and blow-drying. We love working with dogs and have a lot of fun together, especially on those “messy days” when dogs come in with dirty bottoms. It’s not the most pleasant thing, but being able to laugh about it together makes it much easier to handle.

With my background in sales and marketing, my mind kept spinning. I thought, I can’t groom more dogs than I already do, but how can I increase revenue? Not because I needed to, as I can make a good living from the salon alone, but extra income is always nice.

I had several ideas, and they turned out to be a great success in my salon. I want to share them with you too.

Who am I

I started working at a record company as an inside sales representative when I was young. Quickly, I advanced to a sales promoter because they thought I had great ideas. I visited all the CD stores (which existed back then) nationwide to ensure our artists were prominently displayed for increased sales.

I also brainstormed with entrepreneurs on how to give their stores an extra boost. For instance, I organized performances in the store with our up-and-coming artists. I would create advertisements in the newspaper, print flyers to distribute in the shopping streets, ensure there were enough CDs in the store, and set up an attractive window display with posters in a creative way.

Who doesn’t know the most famous band from Zeeland, who even organizes “Concert at Sea” now? Or our pianist from Zwolle with his long hair. I used to pick him up for performances in stores. Something magical happened in those stores. Happy and interested people came in droves. Of course, I also ensured safety measures were in place so that people wouldn’t get squashed. The store was put in the spotlight, and sales naturally soared. It was super fun to do.

Additionally, from a young age, I broke in ponies and horses, competed in many competitions, and had lots of fun, love, and adventures with horses and other horse girls. Dogs have always been a part of my life during this time.

After building my own company in window constructions for 15 years and being a firefighter for 12 years, it was time for a change. When I was shaving my own dog (it didn’t look great), I found it very enjoyable. I delved into the grooming profession and became increasingly enthusiastic. I was fortunate to do an internship with one of the ladies from the Dutch grooming team, where I learned a lot. In 2017, my grooming salon became a reality, and I still enjoy working with all kinds of dogs immensely.
